International concert pianist, artistic director, and curator of Salon West.

Ilya Ramlav is an international concert pianist whose artistry brings together dramatic intensity, refined sensitivity, and a deeply personal connection to the classical tradition.
A recipient of the Rostropovich Prize in Moscow and a prizewinner of major international competitions, Ilya has performed across Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Armenia. His appearances have taken him to distinguished venues including Salle Cortot in Paris, the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the National Concert Hall in Buenos Aires, the United Nations in Geneva, Merkin Hall, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
As a former soloist of the Saint Petersburg House of Music, Ilya toured extensively throughout Russia, performing recitals and collaborating with leading orchestras and conductors, including Yuri Bashmet’s Russian Symphony Orchestra, Virtuosi Brazil, the Saint Petersburg State Orchestra, and the Swiss Symphony Orchestra.
His recent appearances include the History Makers Gala at the New-York Historical Society, the Armenian State Philharmonic, the Moab Music Festival, the Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra, and Patagonia Classica. His performances and interviews have been featured on international platforms including National Classical Radio of Argentina, NRK Television in Norway, and ATV Armenia.
Alongside his concert work, Ilya is a passionate educator and has given masterclasses at institutions including the Armenian State Conservatory and the Astor Piazzolla Conservatory in Buenos Aires. His artistic work extends beyond the traditional recital stage through special events, cultural collaborations, and Salon West, a private cultural series bringing together music, visual art, performance, and conversation.
